First things first, what does this site do?

TheRidePool and super simple place to find and share rides anywhere in the USA (or anything country really). What makes "us" different (No, I'm not just a schizo with an invisible friend), is we allow you to receive text messages on your phone when someone is interested in a ride or giving a ride. There is virtually no fluff so the site is straight forward and easy to use.

Who am I?

My name is Sterling, I'm a hobby programmer and currently don't have a girlfriend. My next site is a dating one in hopes to fix my problem.

Why did you create the ride pool?

For two main reasons.

1. I needed a simple way to find rides with others and no one has a good solution ie: simple and text messaging
2. I wanted to learn how to program Ruby on Rails so I thought this was a good place to start (ps this is my third release of this site haha
